As a New Year’s resolution, I decided to tackle the often made but never accomplished challenge:
To read one book a week for the year, or 52 books in 52 weeks.
I’ve always been an avid reader. I wake up early on a Saturday to curl up with a mug of coffee and a good book. I don’t feel like my day will be off to just the right start if I haven’t been able to unwind with a book before work.
I set out on this challenge to see if I could do it. As I start this blog I’m already around 15 weeks into the challenge and I feel myself developing a deeper sense of maturity with my reading choices. Instead of reaching for the paperback thriller, I’m balancing my reading list with classics that I’ve always put off for “someday.” Well, someday is today. So here it goes!
What are your favorite books? What’s on your to-read list?
